Affordable at Barry Financial Aid

We know that your academic pursuits need to be affordable now and in the fut ure. That’s why we offer the types of financial support that can make our unique private university education accessible for practically all who w ant to join us. In fact, m ore than 90% of our studen ts receive s some form of financial assistance. Our office manages approximately $150 million in student financial aid for eligible students, from a variety of sources.

We encourage you to meet with a Financial Aid counselor early on to maximize the aid you can receive. These can range from merit-based scholarship s, that award up to $17,000 based upon your cumulative GPA.

And y ou don't even need a separate application to find out if you are eligible ! Just submit your admissions application, and we will automatically determine your eligibility for and award your Barry merit-based scholarship upon acceptance.

We also participate in the full array of federal and state financial aid programs. In order to determine your eligibility for these programs, you need submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Since funds may be limited, we encourage you to complete the FAFSA as soon as possible to ensure maximum financial aid eligibility.

Leadership and Service Scholarships include: Barry Stamps Scholars Program, Dominican Leadership Award, RaiseMe Micro-Scholarships, and more.
